Home Run Derby
Fastballs, changeups and curveballs — time your swing; the better the timing, the farther it flies.
About the game
Home Run Derby is a timing-based batting practice: the pitcher mixes fastballs, changeups and curves, and you swing just as the ball reaches the plate. Nail the timing to send it over the fence.
How to play
- Swing as the ball reaches the plate. Better timing goes farther: home run +400, double +150, single +60.
- Swinging very early or late fouls the ball off (a strike, but it can’t be strike three).
- Taking a pitch or missing is a strike; three strikes is an out.
- Three outs end the game; pitches keep getting faster.
Controls

Tips for a high score
- Watch the ball, not the pitcher, in its final stretch.
- Changeups make you swing early — wait for them.
- Curves drift sideways, but timing only depends on when they arrive.
