About the game
Bug Patrol is a classic shoot-’em-up: a multi-segment bug winds down through a mushroom field, splitting every time you hit it and leaving mushrooms behind. You’re confined to the bottom zone with a spider bouncing around.
How to play
- The bug drops a row and turns when it hits a mushroom or the edge.
- Body +10, head +100. A hit segment becomes a mushroom and the bug splits there.
- Mushrooms take 3 hits (+1). The red spider hops through your zone for big points.
- Touching the bug or spider costs a life; lose 3 and it’s over.
Controls
Desktop: arrow keys to move, Space to fire. Mobile: hold and drag — you fire automatically.
Tips for a high score
- Aim for heads — they score more and disrupt the bug.
- Clear mushrooms in your zone for room to move.
- Back off from the spider before aiming at it.
