About the game
Drop Merge is a relaxed drop-and-merge number game: pick a column, drop a block, and watch it combine with matching neighbors into bigger numbers. Each merge can trigger new falls and chain reactions. Simple rules and a calm pace — but reaching four digits takes some planning.
How to play
- Each turn, drop the top block into a column; it falls to the bottom of that column.
- It merges with equal numbers above, below, left or right: absorbing one doubles it, two quadruples it, and so on.
- Blocks above fall into the gap and may merge again as a chain (chains score double).
- Every merged value adds to your score. The game ends when all five columns are full.
Controls
Tap a column to drop the block. On desktop use ← → and Space, or press 1–5.
Tips for a high score
- Keep big numbers together at the bottom of one side and build small ones on the other.
- Check the next block and leave a spot for it.
- Land a block next to two or three matches at once to multiply by 4 or 8.
