About the game
Reversi is a classic with simple rules and deep strategy: every move must flip your opponent’s discs. Corners can never be flipped, so they’re hotly contested.
How to play
- A move must outflank at least one opposing disc in a straight line; all outflanked discs flip to your color.
- If you have no legal move you pass; when neither side can move, the player with more discs wins.
- A win scores 100 + 3 × disc margin and starts the next game; a loss ends the run.
- From game two, the computer looks one move further ahead.
Controls
Tap a square marked with a dot. You play black and move first.
Tips for a high score
- Grab corners — they can never be flipped.
- Avoid squares next to empty corners.
- Early on, limiting your opponent’s moves matters more than flipping many discs.
